London electronic act ZOLA BLOOD have earnt a reputation for poignant songcraft and elegant production, building a loyal fan base in the process and catching the attention of some of the world’s biggest electronic artists.
Their debut album Infinite Games was released in 2017 and won praise for its “delicacy and dark beauty.” The self-produced record built upon the four piece’s blend of ambient techno and dream pop. Taking inspiration from a James P. Carse book of the same name, it explored themes of escapism and openness.
Since its release the band have amassed 50 million streams, toured Europe with Rufus du Sol, collaborated with Berlin DJ/producer Claptone and played a handful of European festivals. The quartet have since been back in the studio and in late 2019 signed to Akira, with plans for new music and a headline European tour in 2020.
